ELECTRONICS chain Best Buy stands accused of “disrespecting” the deeply-held Christian beliefs of Enis Sujak, above, who recently got himself sacked for refusing to attend a mandatory training video on LGBT+ history.
The Serbian immigrant is now trying to raise funds via GiveSendGo, a platform established support the “spiritual needs” of people “persecuted” for their religious beliefs.
He says he needs the money to launch a “discrimination” lawsuit against Best Buy, and, as of today (Sunday) he managed to raise over $10,500.
In reporting the case, the Christian Post said Sujak was terminated from his job working as a member of Best Buy’s Geek Squad repairs unit in Jacksonville on September 1 after speaking out against the training video on LGBT history.
When Sujak asked his Geek Squad manager, Mike Hirsch why Best Buy would not allow Christian displays in stores while the company requires employees to attend LGBT training, Hirsch replied, “They’re not the same.”
Hirsh reported added—correctly—that religious belief was a choice, unlike being gay.
In his fundraiser, the bigot said:
Sexuality has no place in the workplace, and forcing me to subject myself to conduct that I believe constitutes a sin while taking me away from serving my former employer’s customers is simply unacceptable—in fact, it’s unlawful.
Sujak insists that he believes all should be treated equally, whatever their religion or sexual orientation but contradicts himself by saying :
As a Christian, I believe marriage is between a man and a woman.
