AMERICA is facing a “spiritual” disaster, and only “divine intervention” can save it, the CEO of Goya Foods—Bob Unanue, above—claimed in Fox Business video this week.
Back in 2021, according to Wiki, his adoration of Trump almost got him ousted from the company when Goya’s board of directors voted to censure him following his his claim that the 2020 election had been “stolen” from the rabble-rousing demagogue.
Unanue’s statements, according to the directors “imperiled the future of the company and endangered the lives of some of the shareholders.”
The directors said that when Unanue came to the White House to suck up to the then-President—he claimed “America is truly blessed to have a leader like Donald Trump”—his appearance “had not been good for the company.”
The majority of the company’s board favoured removing Unanue from his position, but the family-owned business regulations did not allow for that.
During CPAC 2021, Unanue claimed the 2020 election was illegitimate, and that Trump is:
The real, the legitimate, and the still actual president.
Reporting on Unanue latest bull-pucky, Christian site Faithwire, said that the company’s head is “concerned” about “the dire moral state of America,” proclaiming humanity is in “a spiritual war” and lamenting the state of the nation.
The outlet quoted him as saying:
As a CEO, businessman, what’s happened in the last two years is a complete disaster. We’ve unraveled all the gains we made.
Unanue believes the nation needs an “intervention” and warned, “We’re going to lose this country, our morality” if something doesn’t change.
We are in a spiritual war. But this intervention is going to take place with the Holy Spirit. Latinos, which will be the biggest group in this country by 2050 or by next week with this open border, hold the values of God, family, life, work.
Unanue said many Latinos have escaped communism and chaos only to experience attacks on free speech happening in America, among other issues.
Our children are under attack. And we need to heal.
