O’DONNELL, who enraged both evangelicals and Catholics when she warned of the dangers of “radical Christianity” and said that “I hope the Catholic Church gets sued until the end of time. Maybe, you know, we can melt down some of the gold toilets in the Pope’s Vatican and pay off some of the lawsuits because, the whole tenet of living a Christ-like life, has been lost in Catholicism,” has launched a fresh attack on a man she hates with a passion: Donald J Trump.
Calling the Orange slob “a criminal con man” and a “sexual abusing liar out to harm our nation to serve himself,” O’Donnell, who is proudly gay, was reacting to Trump’s threat to strip her of her US citizenship.
O’Donnell, who upped sticks and settled in Ireland after Trump become president for the second time, added:
He is a dangerous old soulless man with dementia who lacks empathy, compassion and basic humanity.
In a Saturday post on Truth Social, Trump referred to the actor and comedian as a “threat to humanity,” citing her as someone who is not in “the best interest” of the country.
Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
O’Donnell, according to The New York Post, retorted in social media post:
You call me a threat to humanity but I’m everything you fear: a loud woman a queer woman. A mother who tells the truth, an American who got out of the country b4 u set it ablaze. You crave loyalty — I teach my children to question power you sell fear on golf courses — I make art about surviving trauma you lie, you steal, you degrade — I nurture, I create, I persist. You are everything that is wrong with America … I’m not yours to silence. I never was.
The Trump-O’Donnell feud goes back years. In 2016, for example, Trump was grilled on Fox News about his use of language like “fat pigs,” “dogs,” “slobs” and “disgusting animals” to describe some women. Trump responded, “only Rosie O’Donnell.”
Ten years earlier, O’Donnell declared hat Trump is “not a self-made man” but a “snake-oil salesman on Little House On The Prairie.”
How credible is Trump’s threat to strip the gay comedian of her American citizenship?
The New York Post points out that It’s unclear what legal basis Trump could use to strip O’Donnell, who was born on Long Island, of her American citizenship.
Americans cannot lose their US citizenship status even if they obtain citizenship elsewhere, it said.

Another gay comedian who quit the US because of Trump is Ellen DeGeneres, above, who is now living in the UK with her wife with her wife, Portia de Rossi.
According to this report, ahead of his inauguration in January, multiple stars have voiced their desire to quit America in favour of a new life abroad, with many making clear their plans long before the election had even taken place.
Sharon Stone is just one of many A-listers looking abroad for a happier life. The Basic Instinct actress revealed earlier this year that she is dreaming of taking up residence in Italy.
“I am certainly considering a house in Italy,” Stone told DailyMail.com in July. “I think that’s an intelligent construct at this time. “
This is one of the first times in my life that I’ve actually seen anyone running for office on a platform of hate and oppression.
