CALLING devil-dodgers who violate the US Constitution by inserting Christian prayers into military matters “motherfuckers”, Weinstein, above, tore into Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth (inset) in a video posted on YouTube.
He added that those responsible for events such as these “should take them and shove it up their asses.”
Weinstein was reacting with fury over the fact the the deeply pious Hegseth recently spoke of “King Jesus” and led a pray for uniformed military personnel that began, “Lord God, we ask for the wisdom to see what is right and in each and every day, in each and every circumstance, the courage to do what is right in obedience to Your will.”
Weinstein was not the only one outraged by what Hegseth promised would be a regular monthly event, even though he said attendance would be voluntary.
Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Rachel VanLandingham, a former Pentagon lawyer and now a law professor at Southwestern Law School, called the service, broadcast on the Pentagon’s internal TV network “incredibly problematic.”
She said:

She added:
I think it’s sponsorship in the true sense of the word, outside of funding — he’s advocating for this, he is putting his weight of the official Office of the Secretary of Defense behind a particular religious event and inviting someone to the Pentagon to conduct it. That’s wrong.
