Trump: ‘We want to religion back, stronger, bigger and better’

AMERICA’S lame-brained President yesterday said “we have to have religion, which suffered greatly under the Biden administration.”

Trump, who, at every turn, shows signs of suffering a narcissistic personality disorder, said in a speech that coincided with TWO absurd National Prayer Breakfasts, that he would create a commission to protect religious liberty and to combat what he called “anti-Christian bias” in the federal government.

He told those gathered that “I will be creating a brand new presidential commission on religious liberty,” which will “work tirelessly to uphold this most fundamental right.”

In recent years, we’ve seen this sacred liberty threatened like never before in American history.

He gave the example of a 75-year-old pro-life activist who was imprisoned for violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act for praying and protesting at an abortion clinic.

In his grating cartoon character voice he declared:

They were terrible to you, and they were terrible to people of religion, all religions.

And he said it was his honour to pardon 23 pro-life protesters, including the elderly activist, upon taking office.

Trump also announced that he was signing an executive order to direct newly sworn-in U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to head a “task force” that will “eradicate anti-Christian bias” in the government.

The mission of this task force will be to immediately halt all forms of anti-Christian targeting and discrimination within the federal government, including at the DOJ, which was absolutely terrible. The IRS, the FBI, terrible. In addition, the task force will work to fully prosecute anti-Christian violence and vandalism in our society, and to move Heaven and Earth to defend the rights of Christians and religious believers nationwide.

In a message posted on Facebook, Chris Line, legal counsel for the Freedom from Religion Foundation, said the executive order promotes Christian nationalism and aligns with Project 2025, a conservative policy agenda.

This is very concerning. We work to protect the separation of church and state. We believe the government should be neutral.

Line also disputed Trump’s characterisation of the pardoned Christian activists.

Some of those situations seem very close to terrorism. There were threats, people were impeded from entering clinics, and some reported injuries.

He warned the executive order could be used to weaponise Christianity—not only against LGBTQ Americans and religious minorities but also against Christians who do not adhere to conservative beliefs.

We saw just last week a reverend who spoke of a more loving form of Christianity … she has been attacked relentlessly.

He was referring to Bishop Mariann Budde who had the audacity to criticise the piggy-eyed Orange Horror’s stance on migrants and trans people.

  2. Haha Barry, where have you been for the last ten years of the very public Trumpkin; ‘… (he) shows signs of suffering a narcissistic personality disorder …’ self-absorption has always been his raison d’etre.

  3. It’s no wonder Trump feels religious as every time he enters a room he hears murmurs of “Dear God!”

  4. Trump is a mentally ill man and, by chance, his religious bullshit appeals immediately to the most destructive elements in USA society. I mean the religious nutters of whom there are millions. While he wrecks their country, robs them and allows greedy billionaires to add to their billions, the thick as “two short planks” assume without thought or analysis that his half witted claptrap which neither they nor anyone else understands contains wisdom which will benefit them.

An example of his insanity: he says the USA will remove the Palastinians from their country to two other countries which have not been consulted. I heard a highly articulate Arab speaking perfect English describe Trump as “deluded”. There followed a flood of outrage from various countries. Trump relplies by saying something to the effect that “my plans are approved by everyone.”

Then a spokeswoman (who sounded like a junior clerk on her first day) say that “the president has been misunderstood, he said the people removed were being removed temporarily.” Still no indication of how the two million people, being ripped from their country are going to be shuffled around.

He can only get away with his nonsense because America has had its brains damaged by religion. Meanwhile the senior clergy, bishops etc, are too busy defending peadophiles to criticise Trump. Starmer, the PM seems weak and more like a Tory than Labour, and manages a lunch with Trump.
