FOLLOWING the debate beween Donald (“Immigrants are eating our dogs and cats”) Trump and Kamala Harris, who reiterated her strongly-held belief that women should have the right to choose, Catholic philosopher Edward Feser, took to X to declare that “Harris is the antithesis of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who truly loved India and rightly characterized abortion as the greatest destroyer of peace.”

In 2015, beneath the headline “Mother Teresa Was Kind of a Heartless Bitch,” Vice pointed out that the conditions in her missions in India were so dire, in fact, that they were once compared to photographs of “Nazi Germany’s Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.”

So, no, the “heartless bitch” didn’t love India; she loved the adoration she was receiving all over the world, and the vast amounts of money she was handed that was never, ever used to lift Indians out of poverty.

Feser’s post on X was gleefully scooped up by ultra-right-wing Christian site, LifeSite, that carried a headline that declared “Kamala Harris is pushing the most extreme abortion agenda in US history.”

Jonathon van Maren wrote:

Harris makes it abundantly clear her platform rests on the corpses of America’s unwanted unborn. The Harris campaign has released three TV ads on abortion this week alone.  

He added:

Harris’ closing argument at the debate included a Cruella de Vil-like pitch for abortion on demand. Together with [Tim] Walz, the duo makes up the most radical abortion ticket in the history of the United States. They are not average, pro-choice Democrats. They are all in. They have never met an abortion they didn’t like. They are actually passionate about feticide. If elected, they will be a truly disturbing force for evil unlike anything America has ever seen.

    Many years ago when in Calcutta, I tried to get into the Albanian witch’s ‘hospital’, having no success at getting past any of the locked doors, I asked my local agent to help by pretending that I was a potential major donor; he said that it was very unlikely that I would be welcomed as it was well known that the conditions were awaful. He tried and was refused, they offered to arrange an external appointment with a fund-raiser and, depending on the amount of my benefice, it could be with the bitch herself.

    Kamala Harris is faced with massive difficulties in running for President and she is she is doing superbly. She made a good comment to the repellent Trump on assisted dying when she said that the government i.e. Trump if the voters were crazy enough to make him President, had no right to make decisions regarding a woman’s body or anyone else’s.

    Her vast difficulties are revealed as she faces a convicted criminal, persistent and unashamed liar, rapist and yet almost half the voters still support him. Trump insists that global warming is a “hoax”, he fawns and praises dictators, he openly says he will be a dictator. He is the ultimate narcissist and insists he won the last USA election. His claims are cruel and bizarre – immigrants eating cats and dogs. He is a dangerous and unbalanced fool.

    How can so many Americans support this criminal liar?

        I heard him make his announcement about being a clear winner and be cheered by his witless supporters. He is indeed “scared shitless” and a coward. In saying he won’t face Harris again he may have done her a favour as it is the debate he lost that will stay in the memory. In supporting this criminal, compulsive liar and rapist his supporters have abandoned values and bring shame on the USA.

        So he now has no chance of a better performance in a second debate.

          Denis, if the chump took part in another debate we would have a chance of sowing seeds for him to use – e.g., Elvis is still alive and being held captive by immigrants, he would doubtless claim to be able to release him within 24 hours if elected.

    Leaving aside the wrongs of others controlling women’s bodies and rights to choose, abortions will still happen. But a number will be of the amateur, medically very dangerous kind, women will die. I read a novel by the perceptive Ruth Rendell, ‘The Child’s Child’. It’s set in 1929 and a mother is giving woefully bad sex advice to her teenage daughter. She points at two learning disabled adults in their village street and hints that their condition is the result of their mothers’ botched sttempts to abort them. I hadn’t thought of that aspect of self-induced abortion and it made me shiver…..ah, the good old days eh? Let’s return to those.
