THE deranged prosperity preacher has lied about her third marriage, lied about having a doctorate and has now lied about her role in ending apartheid in South Africa.

The Christian Post reports that White-Cain, described by Trump as “a person of great faith and accomplishment“, told a peace conference earlier this year of her involvement with Mandela.

However, the Nelson Mandela Foundation in Johannesburg, which maintains an “archive of the life and time, works and writings of its founder, the late Mr. Nelson Mandela,” told CP they could not find any specific record of White-Cain’s work with Mandela.

Razia Saleh, head of archive and research told CP:

We have searched our holdings and do not find anything on Paula White.

When asked if she could provide further details about her advocacy work with Mandela to end apartheid, White-Cain’s office did not respond to multiple requests for comment from the CP.

White-Cain, who serves as senior pastor of the City of Destiny Church in Apopka, Florida, made the claim during a presentation at the Universal Peace Federation’s Peace Summit held on May 4.

It was organised by a Korean-based cult, The Unifiication Church, led by Hak Ja Han, above, better known as Mrs. Moon or “True Mother” who claims to be “the only begotten daughter of God.”

In a previous address in 2021, White-Cain declared:

I want to take a moment and honor, as well as encourage, Mother Moon for her great work as a spiritual leader who loves the Lord and seeks to carry out and to comfort the heart of God in all the areas of conflict in the world. She is truly a jewel from God.

Writing for the Trinity Foundation (motto: “Monitoring religious fraud for 30+ years”) Barry Bowen asked: “Why would Paula White align herself with a religious cult? At least three explanations exist:

  • The televangelist could be bought. She may have been paid a large amount of money to appear as a guest speaker.
  • White is attempting to reinvent herself as a champion of reconciliation by promoting the unification of North and South Korea. Some critics might even say this action is rooted in religious nationalism.
  • Perhaps White sees nothing wrong with Unification Church teaching. To come to this conclusion, White must either believe Unification teaching or embrace relativism in which truth is different for each person.

The name White-Cain is an appropriate one for someone who is clearly blind to concept of honesty.

  1. White Cain, and others like her, seem to lie so reflexively that they have lost touch with the truth. They live in a morass of lies and these comprise their lives. They must know they are lying but prefer the invented lie to the boring and inconvenient truth.

When one lies for a living, it must be hard to break the money-making habit!
