THE CPA, headed by Sid Cordle, above, recently launched its manifesto for next month’s General Election. But because the media appears to have totally ignored it, I decided to check what plans it has for the future, not least because, back in 2020, I incurred Cordle’s wrath by observing that he was not the sharpest tool in the shed.
This was after the imbecile got fined under Section 28 of the anti-social behaviour, crime and policing act 2014, for placing anti-abortion leaflets at two entrances to a Marie Stopes centre in London.
After Cordle saw that post he blasted off an email, claiming, among other things, that he was far more intelligent than I and would prove so were I to engage in a debate with him. I politely told his to take a flying fuck at rolling doughnut.
The first thing I learned from the CPA’s website is that the party is woefully short of candidates, despite Cordle’s claim that the party is “growing.”
As the leader of the Christian Peoples Alliance since 2012 I’m glad to say we are now growing as a party. We already have almost 100 candidates lined up working in their areas and standing for election at different levels.
But we need more. Only when we have 500 candidates ready to stand in a General Election will we become a real option for Government. Our party is standing 100% for Christian values at every level be it protecting the family, protecting life from conception or caring for the poor. Our policies are fully costed and I commend them to you. The nation needs a Christian option and we need you to help us.
It’s also short of money, and posted a video appeal for cash. In it Cordle blathers on about a Britain “under God’s governance.”
Leaving aside its religious content, one significant takeaway from the CPA’s manifesto is its anti-EU stance:
Since 2019 the Conservatives have implemented Brexit with a deal which got us over the line, but still left the EU with far too much power. Our position is that we should have left with no deal and complete freedom … Many lies are told about the damage to the economy of leaving. There is none.
Hmm.
This report shows that Britain’s departure from the European Union has cost its economy some £140 billion (€162.87 billion) so far, with an economic output of 6% less than if the UK had remained in the EU.
But given that Christianity, like all religions, is based on myths, superstition and lies, one should not be surprised that Cordle would add one more lie to the litany.

The CPA suffered a blow recently when David Campanale, above, a former BBC journalist and member of the party was deselected in a key marginal constituency for Lib Dems.
Campanale claims a group of hardline secularist party activists and LGBT+ rights campaigners worked to deselect him as a candidate for Sutton and Cheam in south London him because of his Christian views and is now suing the party
According to this report, its the first time that a political party in the UK has faced legal action for religious discrimination.
Given that the Lib Dems have vowed to bolster relations with the EU, why on earth would they want a god-besotted euro-sceptic to represent the party? Selecting him was a monumental mistake in the first place.
