MARCOREL Zidor, above, was warned that by police last month that a planned attack on a criminal gang by hundreds of members of his Church of the Pool of Bethesda in Caradeux was “not a good idea.”

They were right.

According to the Christian Post, at least seven of his flock were gunned to death in the confrontation, despite Zidor telling congregants that God would protect them from bullets.

Zidor afterwards claimed that those who died did so because they “lacked faith.”

He also pointed out that 95 percent of of his parishioners avoided being shot.

He got away unscathed because he abandoned his flock by fleeing the scene on a motorcycle

The CP report says that Haitian authorities have temporarily suspended the operating license of Zidor’s church.

Zidor, is popularly known as Pastor Marco, convinced his followers to engage in the deadly confrontation with the gang controlling a suburb of Port-au-Prince called Canaan

In an earlier press statement, Haiti’s Police Chief Frantz Elbé said Zidor led several hundred of his followers, some of whom were armed with sticks and machetes, to overthrow the gang in Canaan.

Elbé said police tried to stop the protest by setting up security perimeters and warning church officials that confronting the gang members was not a good idea, but they ignored the warnings.

He added:

There was a belief in this crowd; there was a determination, The police did everything they could to prevent the crowd from arriving at its destination.

A video posted on X, formerly Twitter, shows gang members opening fire on the church members.

Seems his confidence that God would protect him was lacking.

    2. Do you remember what Donald Trump said on 6th Jan., prior to the riot?

‘And after this, we’re going to walk down, and I’ll be there with you. We’re going to walk down. We’re going to walk down any one you want, but I think right here. We’re going to walk down to the Capitol.’

Where, exactly, was he? They’re all the same.

      1. A defence lawyer asked the same question “My client listened to and believed the man who was President. Where is he?”

The villainous Trump must surely eventually be called to account. I think part of their thinking was that when Trump was elected President he was excuse any of his underlings who was found guilty.

    1. Or if he does exist he has no intention of answering prayers and is unconcerned about his followers welfare. The result is a lack of evidence for his existence.
